Dlinza Forest lies virtually in the middle of Eshowe town. It is an acclaimed and easily accessible site for Delegorgue's Pigeon and Spotted Ground Thrush, as well as for a host of other forest birds.  It has an excellent system of trails and a special attraction is a hide at a feeding site for Green Twinspot and Red-backed Mannikin.

Entumeni Forest is situated 15 kilometers west of Eshowe on the road to Nkandla and offers several specials not found at Dlinza, foremost being African Broadbill and Yellow-streaked Bulbul.
